My passion for organization, business, and helping others succeed began long before I realized it could become a career. At just ten years old, I started a small business breeding and selling sugar gliders. What began as a way to earn money by caring for animals that I loved became a lesson in entrepreneurship. I was responsible for tracking income and expenses, balancing my books, managing records, and making sure everything stayed organized as well as paying back all of the investment that was provided by my backer, aka - my dad. Looking back, that experience sparked a passion for the behind-the-scenes work that helps businesses succeed.

Over the years, that passion grew into a career spanning accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, legal, and business operations. I’ve had the opportunity to work with businesses of all sizes—from family-owned businesses to larger organizations to corporate headquarters—in industries including law firms, breweries, entertainment, landscaping, a national children’s dance franchise, and other service-based businesses. Those experiences have given me a broad understanding of the unique challenges business owners face every day.

Today, I created Blue Ridge Back Office with one simple goal: to give small business owners a dependable partner they can trust. I know that running a business involves wearing countless hats, and I believe your time is best spent serving your customers and growing your business—not worrying about paperwork, reconciliations, payroll, or financial records.

Whether I’m organizing your books, streamlining business processes, or helping you build systems that make your business run more efficiently, my goal is always the same: to provide accurate, reliable support that gives you confidence and peace of mind.

Founder of Blue Ridge Back Office

I look forward to helping your business thrive.

After growing up in Roanoke and spending a few years in other places, my family recently settled into a home in Buchanan, where we enjoy the slower pace of life and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Living and working here has made it especially meaningful to support the local businesses that help our communities thrive.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me tackling a creative project, reading a good book, spending time at the gym, or exploring the trails throughout the Blue Ridge. I enjoy painting, metalsmithing, pottery, and experimenting with just about any artistic medium that lets me create something with my hands. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our son, and our two dogs.
